Day two of Kambi’s Festival of Sportsbook also saw a session on one of the industry’s hottest topics at the moment – the impact of AI on the sports betting world. Kambi’s SVP of Analytics, David Jacquet, presented a new standard in sports betting with some interesting findings from early stages of using AI and how it has changed the products that are being delivered.

Gaining an advantage: Unlocking the potential of tennis betting

Day two of the Festival was rounded off with a session focusing on the growth of tennis betting, hosted by Kambi’s Head of Tennis Philip Mardh and Head of Live Tennis Richard Pratt. Beginning with an overview of the players that are driving turnover, the session focused on how tennis betting has evolved into a crucial sport for live betting, offering a look at key markets and the ingredients which make up a successful tennis offer.

“The key to tennis being such a successful live betting sport is the scoring system – the objective is to win the match, but this is broken down into many smaller sequences of scoring. This structure means there are always a number of exciting bet offers.”
